Texas Tech CU
The DetailsLocation: Lubbock, TX
Project Type: Branch Transformation
Project Size: 2 Branches + HQ Master Plan
The StoryLocated in the heart of Lubbock, Texas Tech Credit Union was a vibrant brand boxed into a traditional space built in 1959. With outdated technology, an unproductive environment for sales, and uninspiring space, it was time for a change.
It was quickly determined that Texas Tech CU’s big vision and goal to improve the member experience simply couldn’t be brought to life within the old branch. They needed efficiency, a modern tech vibe, and vibrancy brought by their brand and its colors. But could they stay open while making such massive changes?
The ResultsThrough project phases, open communication, and hands-on partnerships, DBSI delivered an open-branch design focused on tech, better service, and “WOW” moments through every step of the member journey.
Some noticeable results:
The Texas Tech brand and new feel completely energized the branch and employees.
Experienced incredible growth with 8x the amount of loans and 3x the amount of deposits.
Voted Best Place to Work, employees are proud of their workspace — so much that they’ve brought their friends to look at the space!
Received “Wow” reactions in all areas: the lights, digital signage wall, sleek design, technology, and service.
“OUR BIGGEST SUCCESS IN THIS PROJECT WAS FINDING A PARTNER THAT WE TRUST AND HAVE A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH. DBSI HELPED US EXPRESS OUR VISION, OUR BRAND, AND EVERYTHING THAT WE ARE. THEY HAVE SET US UP FOR SUCCESS AND GROWTH FOR YEARS TO COME.”
